Long-lifespan thrust ball bearings with a 90-degree contact angle. Perfectly designed to sustain heavy unidirectional axial loads in low-speed machinery. View specs!

  • Superior Axial Load Capacity: Features an independent raceway design, enabling it to withstand significant unidirectional axial thrust from all directions, exhibiting excellent anti-push-pressure performance.
  • Extra-Long Service Life: Made from carefully selected high-purity, high-hardness bearing steel and precision heat-treated, it is wear-resistant and fatigue-resistant, significantly reducing the frequency of equipment downtime for maintenance.
  • High-Precision 90-Degree Contact Angle: The steel balls and raceway rolling surfaces form a 90-degree perpendicular angle, ensuring vertical transmission of axial forces and preventing unnecessary radial deviations during operation.
  • Easy Installation and Disassembly: Utilizes a separable structural design (outer ring, inner ring, steel balls, and cage assembly can all be disassembled), making mechanical assembly and routine maintenance more convenient for on-site engineers.

Basic Structure and Principle

  • Basic Structure: It mainly consists of three parts: the shaft washer (a race ring that fits tightly with the shaft), the housing washer (a race ring that fits into the bearing housing), and the ball and cage assembly sandwiched in between.
  • Operating Principle: The internal geometry of a one-way thrust ball bearing is its 90-degree contact angle. When axial thrust is applied by machinery, the force is transmitted perpendicularly through the shaft washer and evenly to the housing washer via the balls. Because the balls primarily operate within high-load vertical raceways, they generate significant centrifugal force and friction during rotation. Therefore, it is generally designed for low-speed, medium-speed applications with strong vertical thrust requirements and is not suitable for high-speed rotation environments to ensure safe operation.

Due to its ability to withstand heavy axial thrust and its long service life, it is widely used in the following non-high-speed but high-axial-load mechanical equipment:

  • Heavy-duty industrial cranes: Crane hook swivel bases, crane steering mechanisms.
  • Fluid control equipment: Large industrial valves, high-pressure fluid control valve regulating shafts.
  • Low-speed, high-load machinery: Vertical drilling machines, jacks, mechanical presses.
  • Vehicle steering systems: Automobile steering knuckles (Kingpin bearings), heavy-duty truck steering gearboxes.
  • Exceptional Axial Load Capacity: Engineered specifically to handle high axial forces with high stiffness and precise rotational alignment (not suitable for radial loads).

  • Separable Construction for Easy Mounting: The separable washers and cage assemblies allow convenient installation, dismounting, and maintenance.

  • Single & Double Direction Options: Single-direction designs fix axial shaft position in one direction, while double-direction designs handle bi-directional axial forces.

  • Low Friction & Quiet Operation: Super-finished raceway grooves paired with precision steel balls minimize friction, noise, and operational heat.

  • Self-Aligning Capability (Spherical Washers): Available with spherical housing washers and aligning seating rings to compensate for initial mounting misalignment.
